Certified Parent Coach

Jaime Harris

Jaime has been a part of our Parent Coaching team since we started the certification in 2022. She is also a member of our King’s Ranch staff where she serves as Coordinator of Programs – with a main focus in our Unplowed Ground Jumpstart Program. Read a little about Jaime’s “why” below:

I decided to partner with Kings Ranch and become a Parent Coach because I 1000% believe in this program. It works for us when no other program did! It brought healing to our home and gave me effective strategies to parent in a successful way. It is such a rewarding job to offer hope to other families and empathize with them as they walk through these hard moments. No one wants to feel hopeless and alone. We need community to support each other in these chaotic moments in life! It is truly a ministry for me to be able to offer hope, guidance, and reassurance to our families who are in crisis.

Certified Parent Coach

Jessica Gray

Jessica has been an Unplowed Certified Parent Coach since 2023. She has been implementing Unplowed Ground in her own home for about 8 years. Jessica describes how she came to want to become a parent coach below:

We have nine children with a total of six being adopted from the foster care system. We started implementing Unplowed Ground back in 2020. It has been an amazing program and we continue to do the big six to the day! I was very interested in becoming a coach because I am already informing people of all that I have learned whenever I can. I feel it is so important to help other parents who are where we were four years ago, when the Lord revealed to me that we were not loving our kids unconditionally, as He does! This program has helped me honor God in loving my children again!

Elaine Classen

Elaine has been an Unplowed Certified Parent Coach since 2023. She is passionate about sharing the program with others and helping families. Hear Elaine’s story below of how she came to Unplowed Ground:

I wanted to become a parent coach to help parents learn the techniques of Unplowed Ground. I also have a soft spot for biological families who are dealing with the effects of developmental trauma due to various factors. This is very close to my heart after my granddaughter experienced trauma from multiple health issues after birth and being in the NICU. Seeing the strides she has made in healing encourage me to share Unplowed Ground with more families.

Certified Parent Coach

Maiven Gray

Maiven is one of our newest Certified Parent Coaches who just completed her certification in 2024. Maiven is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Counseling. Hear Maiven’s story below:

My journey with Unplowed Ground began through my mother, a dedicated Parent Coach herself. We have been implementing the program with my adopted siblings for the last four years, and I have been able to see the life-changing effects it has had. Witnessing the impact Unplowed Ground has had on families, especially my own, gave me a strong desire to be a part of this organization. Our motto, “End The Cycle,” has motivated my pursuit of child psychology since before I learned of this program, so I am certain that God has led me here, and I believe He has led you here as well. I am blessed to contribute to this life-changing work, which aims to provide hope and healing to families navigating the complexities of attachment disorders.

Certified Parent Coach

Amy Davis

Amy is one of our newest parent coaches who just completed her certification in 2024. She is a retired therapist who has seen the impact of the program through many of her clients. Hear her story of becoming a certified parent coach below:

I found Unplowed Ground through a friend who used the program and it helped her child tremendously.  I am an adoptive parent(two adopted sons and two biological daughters) and worked in the mental health field as a therapist with many adoptive families.  I had never seen a program so effective with children with attachment issues so I began recommending to my families.  I have a Bachelor of Social work degree and Master’s of Arts in Human services counseling.  Both of my adopted sons had attachment issues and I would’ve loved to have this program 15 years ago.  It gets to the root issues and addresses attachment like I have not seen in my work as a therapist.  I became a parent coach to be able to help equip parents with the strategies to help families heal.
